Chrysler will be recalling certain 2013 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with 1.4L MultiAir turbo engines and dual dry clutch transmissions, because certain vehicles could experience engine stalls at start up and in cool weather.

In January of this year, Chrysler opened an investigation into the problem after receiving fifty one reports of Dart vehicles experiencing stalling at braking, immediately after the first start of the day. Chrysler determined that the idle settings needed adjustment to avoid rpm undershoot and they are asking owners to bring in their vehicles to have the powertrain control module reprogrammed. Owners wanting more information about the stalling problem can contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753.
