Hyundai has announced two recalls affecting the safety of certain 2012 Hyundai Veloster vehicles.

The first recall involves certain models equipped with panoramic sunroofs. During factory installation, the sunroof assembly may have been weakened and could break while driving. Hyundai will be notifying owners starting in January, and dealers will inspect and replace affected sunroofs as necessary.

The second recall affects certain vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. According to Hyundai, moisture and road grime could cause the parking brake components to bind. The parking brake may not fully engage when the vehicle is parked and could roll away, or may not disengage.

Hyundai will be notifying owners of the affected vehicles starting in January. For more information about the problem, contact Hyundai at 1-800-633-5151.
