Jaguar has announced a recall for certain 2010-2012 Jaguar XF vehicles equipped with 5-liter gasoline engines. According to reports filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), these vehicles could have a fuel tank outlet flange that could be a lemon. The flange could crack and leak leaving drivers with a fuel odor, an illuminated check engine light, or a fuel puddle under the vehicle. If the problem is not repaired, the leak could result in a possible vehicle fire. Jaguar will be notifying owners starting in early December and will replace the outlet flanges free of charge. Owners wanting more information about the problem can contact Jaguar at 1-800-452-4827.
