Ford is recalling certain 2013 Ford Fusion vehicles manufactured between February-October 2012, because the vehicles head lamps may fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicles Safety Standards (FMVSS). During manufacturing, the low beam headlamp projector coating may have not been properly cured. The coating could become hazy over time, reducing the brightness of the low beam lamp. The decreased visibility could affect the safety of the vehicle occupants. Ford will start notifying owners beginning December 10, 2012 and will correct the problem by replacing the headlamp assembly. Owners wanting more information about the problem may contact Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center at 1-866-436-7332.
