Chrysler will be notifying owners of certain 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV’s about a problem that could lead to loss of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) functions. Chrysler’s recall campaign number is N58 and the NHTSA Campaign Number is 13V-483. Approximately 91,559 vehicles could be affected by this problem.

The problem could reduce the ability to control the vehicle increasing the chances of an accident.

Chrysler will notify owners to return to their nearest Jeep dealer to have the ABS, ESC, and instrument cluster module software updated, and tighten the alternator ground wires. Owners wanting more information about the problem can contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753.
