BMW will be recalling one thousand five hundred and forty 2009-2010 X5 xDrive35d vehicles equipped with diesel engines, after receiving sixteen out of country reports of the fuel filter overheating. 2008 Chevrolet Silverado California Lemon Law Buyback

We recently met with a San Bernardino, California resident who had purchased a new 2008 Chevrolet Silverado at a nearby dealership. After only 31,000 miles, the transmission started slipping in second gear and had to be brought to the dealer for repairs. The problem recurred at 46,000, 76,000, and 79,000 miles, but the dealership was unable to repair the problem. At 79,000 miles she contacted the Lemon Law Offices of Delsack & Associates to see whether she qualified for a buyback under the California Lemon Law. Continue reading

General Motors (GM) is recalling a small number of 2014 GMC and Chevrolet SUVs because these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) for vehicle brake systems. Subaru of America is recalling certain 2014 Legacy 3.6R, 2014 Outback 3.6R, and 2013 Tribeca vehicles equipped with 5 speed automatic transmissions. The vehicles involved were manufactured June 12, 2013 through June 28, 2013. A total of 202 units could be affected by this defect. Continue reading
Ford HID Headlamp Wiring Problem
Ford has announced a recall for certain 2012-2013 Focus BEV and 2013 model year Focus ST vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, because these vehicles fail to comply to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Standards (FMVSS). Lotus Evora S Ruptured Oil Line
Lotus USA is expanding a recall on certain 2011 Evora supercharged vehicles manufactured between September 2010 – September 2011 and quipped with a manual transmissions, because of a problem that could result in an engine fire. Ford C-Max Hybrid Insufficient Head Protection
The Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2013 C-Max hybrids because these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201, “Occupant Protection in Interior Impact.” Approximately 33,000 vehicles are affected by this recall.
