After trying unsuccessfully to have his defective 2009 Buick Enclave repaired, the owner decided to contact the Law Offices of Delsack & Associates, P.C. for advice and to retain our firm. He told us he had complained many time to the GMC dealer about the problems he was having and had taken his vehicle in to a GM approved dealership to have defects fixed, six (6) times. These problems included:

  • Power steering locks up and becomes difficult to turn at low speeds
  • Transmission slips, won’t shift, or shifts erratically
  • Unexpected loss of power
  • Defective water pump

Chrysler TIPM Defects And Investigations

Owners experiencing problems with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) of certain Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles may find help after a federal judge granted preliminary approval to a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges Chrysler sold and leased 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs equipped with defective TIPMs. The defect resulted a variety of problems including engine stalls; airbag non-deployment; random horn, headlight, taillight, door lock, instrument panel and windshield wiper activity; and failure of the fuel pump shutoff. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Lemon Law Buyback

The owner of a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, bought in November 2013, started experiencing repeated problems with his SUV shortly after purchasing it. The first repair attempt was in December 2013 with an additional five more repair opportunities at his Jeep dealership. 2014 Ram 2500 CA Lemon Law Buyback For Repeated Defects

The Law Offices of Delsack & Associates, P.C. recently helped the owner of a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 obtain a manufacturer buyback for defects with his truck. He purchased the vehicle in December 2013 and almost immediately started having problems.

  • The ‘Check Engine Light’ would illuminate constantly.
  • The Powetrain Control Module (PCM) had been replaced.
  • The transmission was difficult to shift.
  • Problems with the fuel system injection timing resulted in the replacement of the high pressure pump and the
  • Exhaust Gas Re-Circulation (EGR) bypass valve.

Volkswagen Airbags Could Disable

Owners of certain 2010-2014 Volkswagen vehicles will be receiving safety notices for a problem affecting the air bag system. According to reports listed on the NHTSA website, the steering wheel clock spring could become contaminated with debris causing a displacement of the internal guide loops and tension to the internal flat cable. If the cable tears, loss of electrical connection to the driver’s front airbag will disable the airbag and cause the airbag monitoring indicator light to illuminate. Continue reading →

Our client had purchased the Fiesta in September 2011 and was experiencing safety related problems with the transmission. Chrysler Software Vulnerable To Hacking

Some 2013-2015 Chrysler vehicles equipped with RA3 or RA4 model radios may have certain software vulnerabilities which could allow third party access to some vehicle control systems. If the system is exploited, an unauthorized remote modification could expose the driver, occupants, and other individuals within the proximity to a potential risk of injury. 2013 Audi Coupe CA Lemon Law Buyback For Repeated Defects

The Law Offices of Delsack & Associates, P.C. were recently contacted by the owner of a 2013 Audi Coupe, who was looking for advice about his defective vehicle. He said he was experiencing problems with the engine and transmission which caused the vehicle to accelerate poorly, hesitate, and surge under normal driving conditions. The vehicle also had a defective suspension which required repeated repairs to the rear differential.
