Volvo will be asking the owners of certain 2016-2017 S90 and XC90 vehicles to return to their dealerships to correct a problem affecting the air conditioning system. Due to an incorrect installation, condensation from the air conditioning drainage hose may leak into the passenger compartment. Drivers may notice some air conditioning functionality issues, and if the problem is not repaired, the moisture could affect the supplemental restraint and the engine management systems. 2016 Cadillac CT6 Seat Belt Safety
General Motors will be contacting certain 2016 Cadillac CT6 owners about a safety problem that could exist in their vehicles. According to the defect report, the bolts that secure the front passenger seat belt webbing to the seat anchor plate may be missing. The webbing could detach from the seat anchor and may not effectively restrain the passenger during a crash.
Dealers will replace the existing front passenger seat belt webbing anchor bolt, or if the bolt is missing, install a new one. (Note: Owners are advised to not carry passengers in the front passenger seat until the problem has been fixed.)
2014-2016 Jeep Cherokee – Seat Squeaks & Rattles
Drivers of certain 2014-2016 Jeep Cherokee‘s may hear squeaks and rattles coming from the seats of their vehicles. Chrysler will be sending notices to owners instructing them to return to their dealerships to have the problem repaired.
According to the defect report filed with the NHTSA, low torque on the first and/or second row seat fasteners could result in squeaks, rattles, deflection or unsatisfactory joint integrity. If the problem is not repaired, it could compromise the structural integrity of the seat. 2017 Subaru Outback Instability And Reduced Braking
Subaru will be contacting owners of certain 2017 Subaru Outback vehicles regarding a problem affecting brakes and suspension. According to the defect report, the bolts used to attach the front brake calipers, wheel hubs and the right stabilizer clamp may not have been sufficiently tightened. Drivers will be alerted to a problem by a rattling or clunking sound from the front wheel area, especially when brakes are applied. If the attaching bolts loosen or detach, the related components would also become loose and could possibly detach. 2015 RAM 2500 & 3500 Reduced Steering Response
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) will be contacting the owners of certain 2015 RAM 2500 & 3500 trucks about a problem affecting the steering system. Some of these vehicles may have been built with inadequate front track bar frame bracket welds. If these welds brake, steering response will be reduced or lost. Drivers may experience an off center steering wheel prior to the failure.

2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid Unexpected Engine Stall
General Motors has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid vehicles equipped with a manual service disconnect (MSD).
The MSD is a shut-off switch designed to disconnect power before servicing. In some vehicles, the MSD was not installed properly and could become loose and disconnect while driving. The engine will stall and may affect the driver’s ability to control the vehicle.
Dealers will inspect the MSD and seat the connector properly, if necessary. A software update will also be installed to monitor and detect if the high voltage interlock loop (HIVL) is connected correctly. 2016 Buick Verano Fuel Line Leaks
General Motors has decided that a small number of 2016 Buick Verano vehicles may have a problem affecting the fuel system. According to the defect report filed with the NHTSA, the engine fuel line assembly was manufactured incorrectly, causing it to be misrouted over the engine. These lines could contact the hot surface of the engine and could fail, causing a fuel leak and a potential engine fire. Continue reading
2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Transmission Fluid Leaks
Mitsubishi will be contacting the owners of certain 2015 Outlander Sports vehicles, about a problem affecting the power train system. The hose clamps on the continuously variable transmission (CVT) may not have been released during the assembly process and could disconnect and drain fluid. While the subject transmission hoses are not located near the exhaust manifold or the battery, transmission fluid in the presence of an ignition source could present a fire hazard.
