Chrysler will be asking a small number of 2015 RAM 4500 and 5500 owners to return to their dealership to repair a problem with the front suspension. According to reports filed with the NHTSA, the weld between the front upper control arm loop to the spacer may be inadequate. The condition could result in reduced front suspension stability and may affect vehicle control.

Dealers will inspect the upper control arm welds and will replace them as necessary. Owners wanting more information about the problem are asked to contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler’s number for this recall is R34 and the NHTSA campaign number is 15V-468.
