2012 Nissan Versa CA Lemon Law Buyback
Six months after purchasing a new 2012 Nissan Versa, the owner was returning to her dealership for repairs. The car was experiencing repeated problems with the HVAC system including a defective AC evaporator, compressor, and condenser; as well as defective driver and passenger seats. The vehicle had been out of service for over 54 days and the problems were still not fixed. After trying unsuccessfully to have these defects repaired until May 8, 2014, our client contacted the Law Offices of Delsack & Associates., P.C. to represent her in her demand to repurchase the vehicle under the California Lemon Law. Are You Still Waiting For Airbag Replacement Parts?
With a record number of recalls released last year, people visiting the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website to check the VIN number of their vehicle to see if it has been recalled, may experience problems accessing the information they are looking for. The service has been slow after automakers released another round of recalls for defective Takata airbags. About 33.8 million vehicles, manufactured by 11 different automakers, have already been recalled to replace frontal airbags on the driver’s side and/or passenger’s side, because they could deploy with too much force, injuring and in some instances killing occupants. 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Buyback For Engine Defects
After six (6) unsuccessful repair attempts, the owner of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado decided to contact our California lemon law offices for advice. He was experiencing repeated problems with several systems in his truck, including smoke from the exhaust, a check engine light that remains on, and a defective rear door. Takata Airbag Recall Expands Again
Takata continues to make the news as Japans three biggest automobile manufacturers, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda, announce that they are expanding the recall for faulty airbags. Over 30 million vehicles world wide have been recalled over the defect and it has been linked to six deaths and over 100 injuries. Although it is not known for sure why Takata airbags are prone to exploding some suspect the ammonium nitrate used to inflate them can overheat, especially in high humidity, and shower passengers and drivers with shrapnel from the canisters holding them. 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Ca Lemon Law Buyback
After eight (8) unsuccessful repair attempts on her 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, a California resident contacted our lemon law offices for advice and help. She told us she was experiencing problems with her vehicle’s engine, electrical, electronic, and steering systems. These defects included:
- Stalling under normal operating conditions.
- StabiliTrac light that remains on.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Repeated Repair Attempts
Despite numerous complaints and nine (9) unsuccessful repair attempts, the owner of a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was still driving a vehicle with defects. The problems included an air bag warning light that would illuminate; an engine that would stall and not start; white smoke from the exhaust system; a check engine light that remains on; and a defective drivers seat, door locks, and A/C system. 2013 Fiat 500e Powertrain Repeated Repair Attempts
In August 2013, Chrysler opened an investigation into certain 2013 Fiat 500e battery electric vehicles because drivers were experiencing excessive noise from the powertrain and loss of drive capability. The investigation found that due to product, process, and rework anomalies, the half shaft joints on the suspect vehicles may not have been engineered and developed for this application.
