2013 Mercedes SL Airbag Classification Problem
A limited number to Mercedes Benz SL-Class vehicles manufactured between January 16, 2013 to April 30, 2013 may be equipped with an Occupant Classification System (OCS) that does not detect a passenger or child seat in the passenger position. Mercedes will be asking owner to bring their vehicles in to have the passenger side seat cushion and the OCS system replaced. The NHTSA Campaign Number is 13V-542. Continue reading
Harley Davidson Motorcycle Clutch Does Not Disengage
Harley Davidson (HD) has identified two problems affecting the power train in certain 2014 FLH-Series motorcycles. According to the report filed with the NHTSA, certain units may have an incorrectly manufactured clutch master cylinder that could allow air to to get into the system. Additionally, the motorcycles may have been fitted with the incorrect clutch release plate. Both problem could prevent the clutch from disengaging, making it difficult for the rider to slow or stop the motorcycle. Continue reading
2013 Dodge Dart Side Airbag Installation Error
Chrysler has identified a problem affecting airbags in certain 2013 Dodge Dart vehicles, equipped with “Mopar 13” Upfit packages. On September 24, 2013, Chrysler opened an investigation into the improper installation of seat mounted side airbags (SAB) after being informed by their supplier of an operator noncompliance with work instructions. 2008 Chevrolet Silverado California Lemon Law Buyback
