A month after purchasing a new 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300W, a California resident started experiencing problems with the temperature control and A/C system in her vehicle. 2015 Hyundai Sonata Difficult Steering

Certain 2015 Hyundai Sonata vehicles are being recalled by the automobile manufacturer because of a poor connection within the vehicle’s wiring harness. During manufacturing, the pin socket in one of the vehicles main wiring harness could have been slightly deformed affecting the Chassis’ Controller Area Network circuit continuity. The circuit could become intermittent or open, causing the illumination of the instrument cluster’s indicator lamp, inability to remove the vehicle’s shifter from the park postilion, or a reduction in steering assist. 2014 Jaguar XF Loss Of Braking

Jaguar Land Rover have filed a non-compliance report with the NHTSA involving a small number of 2013-2014 Jaguar XF cars. During accelerated durability testing it was found that the right hand rear brake pipe was chaffing on the rear sub frame bracket. Contact between the two parts could result in wear on the brake pipe and eventual sudden loss of brake fluid. Drivers will experience an illuminated low brake fluid warning light and stopping distances will be increased . Chrysler And Dodge Minivan Ignition Shuts Off

Drivers of certain 2008-2010 Chrysler and Dodge minivans and crossover SUVs could experience an unexpected engine shut off while driving over rough roadway condition or when the driver accidentally bumps the vehicle key Fob. Mitsubishi Evolution And Ralliart Power Steering Leaks

Insufficient clearance between the power steering pressure tube and the cross member brace in some 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Lancer Ralliart cars will have owners returning to their nearest dealership for repairs. Chevrolet Silverado Inaudible Warning Indicator

The owners of certain 2014-2015 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUV’s equipped with base radio and an internal amplifier, could experience problems that will leave drivers with no audible warning indicators. This “No Chime Condition” will require that the vehicle be returned to the nearest dealership to have the radio software updated. The defect could leave drivers with no audible warning if the key is left in the ignition, the driver’s door is opened, or if the front passenger seat belt is not buckled. 2009 Chevrolet HHR Repeated Repair Attempts

The owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR contacted the Law Offices of Delsack & Associates, P.C. after experiencing repeated problems with her vehicle. She purchased the wagon new in September 2010 and drove it for only a month when it started loosing power under normal operating conditions. Persistent problems resulted in the vehicle being returned to a GMC dealer, seven (7) more times for issues that include:

Rupturing Airbags Prompt NHTSA Investigation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have announced that they will be opening an investigation into automobiles from five major automobile manufacturers for problems with airbags that could rupture and injure vehicle occupants. The announcement comes after six reports of air bag inflator ruptures occurring in areas that have consistently hot, humid conditions. The NHTSA has received notification from BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota that they will be issuing limited regional recalls to repair possible safety defects involving these Takata brand air bag inflators.
