On Thursday night the Senate voted to extend the Cash for Clunkers Program. They will be making available another $2 billion for the program. The vote was 60-37 to go forward with the program.

It was announced by the secretary of transportation, that he will be holding a summit to discuss the dangers of driving and multitasking.
