Honda CR-V Engine Vibrations
If you search online for “Honda CR-V engine vibrations” there is no shortage of complaints and video’s from drivers who say that their vehicle excessively vibrates. The problem is found primarily in the 2015 CR-V, but a few complaints have been showing up in some newer models as well. Owners say the shutter can be felt while idling, accelerating, and driving, and is difficult to pinpoint because it resonates throughout the vehicle. DMV Reminds California Residents About New Traffic Laws For 2016
With the beginning of 2016, California enacted new laws affecting the day-to-day operations of California residents. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) are reminding everyone that several of these laws will directly affect transportation. SB 491 (Earbuds & Headsets) is one notable law that makes it illegal to wear a headset covering, earplugs in, or earphones covering, resting on, or inserted in, both ears, while operating a motor vehicle or a bicycle. During installation of the Roush Extreme Duty Half Shafts, the caliper guide pin bolts may have not been torqued to the proper specification. According to reports filed with the NHTSA, an improper coating treatment of the low pressure fuel line connection on the fuel pump feed pipe could result in a fuel evaporation leak during the engine start phase. Ford Fusion and Milan Fuel Leak Fire Risk
Ford will be asking the owners of certain 2010-2011 Fusion and Milan cars to return to their dealerships to repair a defect affecting the fuel system. According to reports, some cars may have an evaporative emissions canister purge valve (CPV) that may develop an internal leak and allow excessive vacuum to build up in the fuel tank. Repeated cycles of this condition could cause cracks to develop in the fuel tank. Drivers may detect a smell of fuel around the vehicle, observe a fuel puddle under the fuel tank, and/or experience a malfunction indicator light (MIL) illumination. Continue reading
