Ford has announced a recall for certain 2010-2011 Ford Fusion and 2010-2011 Mercury Milan vehicles equipped with 17 inch steel wheels. The recall comes after a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigation in January, where customers complained of cracking wheel studs on their low mileage vehicles. Subaru Sunroof Defect
Subaru is recalling some 2011 Outback and 2011 Legacy vehicles because the moonroof glass may become loose or detach from the vehicle. According to the recall report, the amount and position of the adhesive between the glass and retainer was inadequately applied, and could become a road hazard if it detaches while driving. GM Pays Half Of Fuel Gauge Repairs
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has closed an investigation into faulty fuel gauges in some 2005-2007 GMC, Chevrolet, and Buick sport utility vehicles, after GM agreed to pay 50% of the repair fees. The investigation was started earlier this year after the NHTSA received 668 complaints of inaccurate fuel gauge readings. The repairs could affect up to 865,000 vehicles in the United States. According to the Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) filed with the NHTSA, the vehicles involved include:

- 2005-2006 Chevrolet SSR
- 2005-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer
- 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT

Triumph Tiger Motorcycles Recalled
Triumph has announced a recall for certain 2011 and 2012 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800 XC motorcycles, manufactured between September 2010 to June 2011. The problem is being blamed on a glitch with the engine management software (EMS). According to the report file with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the old EMS could lead to low RPMs and a potential stall when decelerating. NHTSA Investigates Mazda CX 9 Brakes
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened an investigation into some 2009 Mazda CX-9 sport utility vehicles (SUV) after reports of a high number of warranty claims for servicing brakes. Reports found that the high number of warranty claims on brakes was due to an internal brake fluid leak from the master cylinder into the vacuum booster. Drivers reported reduced brake effectiveness and extended stopping distances. A preliminary evaluation has been opened to assess the scope, frequency and safety consequences of the alleged defect. If the investigation should lead to a recall, about 40,000 vehicles could be affected.
Yamaha Recalls FJR1300 Motorcycles
Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 motorcycles for an electrical problem that could lead to malfunctioning electrical systems or the engine stalling unexpectedly. The bikes, built between February 2006 to March of 2009 could have a ground joint connector harness that could overheat and cause an intermittent ground connection. VW Recalls Vehicles For Tire Monitoring System
Volkswagen is recalling certain 2012 CC model vehicles for failing to comply with the Federal motor vehicles safety standards for tire pressure monitoring. Certain vehicles that had their factory installed wheels and tires replaced with accessory wheels and tires may not have the proper tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) installed. With the incorrect sensors, the driver will receive inaccurate warnings for the inflation of the tires. Improper tire pressure can lead to premature wear and eventual failure of the tires. Volvo Recalls S60 For Fuel Issues
Volvo has announced a recall that will affect some 2012 S60 passenger cars manufactured between November 2010 to May 2011. The fuel pump software may not be compatible with the installed fuel pump resulting in insufficient fuel transfer in the pump unit.
