This 2023 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER PHEV recall affects the ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY Manufactured by Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC
Description Of Defect
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling one 2023 Land Rover Range Rover PHEV vehicle. A bolt for the high voltage battery may not be secured properly, which can result in the high voltage battery sparking and overheating.
Conseqence Of Defect
A high voltage battery that sparks and overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
A dealer will replace the high voltage battery, free of charge. An owner notification letter was mailed October 5, 2023. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N786.
