This 2023 HYUNDAI XCIENT recall affects the STEERING:GEAR BOX:SHAFT PITMAN Manufactured by Hyundai Motor America

Description Of Defect

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023 Xcient vehicles. The pitman arm may not be secured properly to the steering gearbox, which can result in a loss of steering control.

Conseqence Of Defect

A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and repair the pitman arm connection as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 264.
