This 2025 AUDI E-TRON GT recall affects the SUSPENSION:FRONT:MACPHERSON STRUT Manufactured by Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. from 2025-03-12 through 2025-03-28

Description Of Defect

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2025 Audi E-Tron GT vehicles. A retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, resulting in a dislodged strut and air loss from the strut spring.

Conseqence Of Defect

An air suspension strut failure may cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the air suspension struts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 16, 2025. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 40LF.
