The affected units may have an insufficiently welded electrical connection that could exhibit increased electrical resistance.  The vehicle may detect a fault and interrupt charging or the adapter could become hot to the touch. <\/p>\n<p>The charging adapter affected include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-TESLA\/NEMA+10-30+ADAPTER\/\">NEMA 10-30 ADAPTER<\/a> (Production Date &#8211; 01\/08\/2013 &#8211; 03\/25\/2015)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-TESLA\/NEMA+14-30+ADAPTER\/\">NEMA 14-30 ADAPTER<\/a> (Production Date &#8211; 08\/28\/2012 &#8211; 01\/09\/2014)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-TESLA\/NEMA+6-50+ADAPTER\/\">NEMA 6-50 ADAPTER<\/a> (Production Date &#8211; 08\/10\/2012 &#8211; 12\/09\/2013)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tesla will notify owners and will provide them with a replacement adapter.  Owners wanting more information about the problem are asked to contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752.
