A recent interim agreement between Federal authorities and Volkswagen could have the German automobile manufacturer buying back or repairing over 500,000 cars, but the details on how this will be done are still vague.  Meanwhile, consumers have been left with unanswered questions.  The problem does not pose a safety risk to drivers and vehicles will still pass inspection, but some owners living in California and states that enforce tough emissions rules, question whether the problem will affect their vehicle registration renewal.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The models listed below have been named by the EPA for emissions violations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2009\u20132015 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI<\/li>\n<li>2009\u20132016 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2010\u20132015 Volkswagen Golf 2.0L TDI<\/li>\n<li>2012\u20132015 Volkswagen Beetle 2.0L TDI<\/li>\n<li>2012\u20132015 Volkswagen Passat 2.0L TDI<\/li>\n<li>2009\u20132015 Audi Q7 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2010\u20132015 Audi A3 2.0L TDI<\/li>\n<li>2014\u20132016 Audi A6 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2014\u20132016 Audi A7 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2014\u20132016 Audi A8\/A8L 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2014\u20132016 Audi Q5 3.0L V-6 TDI<\/li>\n<li>2013\u20132016 Porsche Cayenne Diesel 3.0L V-6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is expected that there will be a recall to bring the existing models up to regulations.
