An engineering analysis found that the terminals on the fuel heater connector could overheat and deform, possibly leading to failure of the O-ring that seals the fuel heater assembly.  If the connector overheats, the fuel heater could leak, increasing the chance of an engine fire. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<h3>The RAM trucks affected by this defect include:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/2500\/2010\/\">2010<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/2500\/2014\/\">2014 RAM 2500<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/3500\/2010\/\">2010<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/3500\/2014\/\">2014 RAM 3500<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/4500\/2010\/\">2010<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/4500\/2014\/\">2014 RAM 4500<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/5500\/2010\/\">2010<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-RAM\/5500\/2014\/\">2014 RAM 5500<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chrysler dealers will replace the connector with a service kit, inspect the fuel heater for leaks, and replace any damaged parts as necessary.  Owners wanting more information about the defect are asked to contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403.
