According to reports filed at the NHTSA website, the fasteners holding  the intermediate shaft and the steering gear, and\/or at the lower control arm to the lower ball joint may have not been torqued to the correct specifications.  The fasteners could loosen, parts could separate, and the driver could experience complete loss of steering.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The vehicles affected by this problem include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-BUICK\/REGAL\/2014\/\">2014 Buick Regal<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-CADILLAC\/XTS\/2014\/\">2014 Cadillac XTS<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-CHEVROLET\/CAMARO\/2014\/\">2014 Chevrolet Camaro<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-CHEVROLET\/IMPALA\/2014\/\">2014 Chevrolet Impala<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Owners wanting more information about the problem can contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac) or 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet).
