According to reports filed on the NHTSA website, when the vehicle is started, the key FOB could over travel and hang up between the ON and ACC detents of the ignition.<!--more-->  Vibrations could cause the FOB to move into the accessory detent position shutting down engine power, air bags, power steering, and power braking. There have already been approximately 32 customer complaints and 465 warranty claims alleging inadvertent engine shut off while driving.  Chrysler said they are aware of 2 rear end collisions believed to have been caused by the condition.<br \/>\nThe  vehicles affected by this defect include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2008-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-CHRYSLER\/TOWN+AND+COUNTRY\/2010\/\">2010  Chrysler Town And Country<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2008-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-DODGE\/GRAND+CARAVAN\/2010\/\">2010 Dodge Caravan<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2009-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-DODGE\/JOURNEY\/2010\/\">2010 Dodge Journey<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chrysler will be asking owners to return their vehicles to an approved repair facility to have the switch replaced free of charge.
