In the affected vehicles, the flexible steel cable connecting the safety belt to the vehicle at the outside of the front outboard seating positions can fatigue and separate as a result of occupant movement in and out of the seat.  A  fatigued or separated cable will increase the risk of injury to occupants during an accident. <!--more-->The vehicles involved in this recall include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2009-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-BUICK\/ENCLAVE\/2014\/\">2014 Buick Enclave<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2009-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-CHEVROLET\/TRAVERSE\/2014\/\">2014 Chevrolet Traverse<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2009-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-GMC\/ACADIA\/2014\/\">2014 GMC Acadia<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2009-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/make-SATURN\/OUTLOOK\/2010\/\">2010 Saturn Outlook<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GM will be asking owners to return to a manufacturer approved repair facility to have their seat belts inspected and, if necessary, replace the lap pretensioners.  Owners wanting more information about the problem can contact General Motors at 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-462-8782 (GMC), 1-800-553-6000 (Saturn).
