Your car, truck, or SUV could be a lemon if a defect is significantly impairing its use, value, or safety; or if it has been out of service for 30 days during the first 18 months or 18,000 miles; AND is still not repaired. For most problems the manufacturer must be given four repair attempts of fix the problem. When the defect is safety related, the manufacturer is given only two repair attempts.<\/p>\n
