{"id":4857,"date":"2013-06-21T19:36:56","date_gmt":"2013-06-21T23:36:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/blog\/?p=4857"},"modified":"2013-06-21T19:36:56","modified_gmt":"2013-06-21T23:36:56","slug":"honda-and-acura-brake-assist-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/blog\/?p=4857","title":{"rendered":"Honda And Acura Brake Assist Problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Honda is recalling certain <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/?make=ACURA&#038;model=RSX&#038;year=2006\">2006 Acura RSX<\/a> and 2006-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calemonlaw.com\/recall\/?make=HONDA&#038;model=S2000&#038;year=2007\">2007 Honda S2000<\/a> vehicles for a problem which could lead to decreased brake assist.  <\/p>\n<p>According to the recall report, during the manufacturing of the brake booster cylinder, insufficient clamping between the two outer housing components <!--more--> could create a gap that will not allow the booster to maintain a vacuum when the brake is depressed.  Drivers could experience abnormal braking noises and increased stopping distances that could result in an accident.<\/p>\n<p>Owners receiving a recall notice will be asked to take their vehicles to a Honda or Acura automobile dealer to have the brake booster assembly inspected and replaced as necessary.
