The omission of this patch could lead to the rear axle pinion nut loosening.<!--more-->  The axle could lock up and cause a loss of vehicle control and\/or a vehicle crash.  Chrysler will start notifying owners beginning in March, and dealers will install a retainer nut to prevent the rear axle pinion nut from loosening.  Owners wanting more information about the problem can contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753.
