And if you\u2019re in <strong>California<\/strong>, this might also be a qualifying condition under the <strong>California Lemon Law<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s the issue?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Audi says a <strong>software error<\/strong> in the instrument panel can cause the entire display to <strong>fail without warning<\/strong>. That includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your speedometer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Warning lights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fuel level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigation prompts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And other critical driving data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In a digital-only dash setup, losing your display means flying blind \u2014 and that\u2019s a safety risk Audi is now acknowledging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which vehicles are affected?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2021 Audi A6, A7, A8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2021 Audi S6, S7, S8, RS6, RS7, RS8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2021 Audi Q7, Q8, SQ7, SQ8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, around <strong>44,000 vehicles<\/strong> are involved in the recall. Audi dealerships are offering a <strong>software update<\/strong> to resolve the problem, and repairs are already underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if this has already happened to you?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If your dash has glitched, gone dark, or needed multiple visits to the dealer for software issues, your experience might not be a one-off.
