General Motors (GM) is recalling a small number of 2014 GMC and Chevrolet SUVs because these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) for vehicle brake systems. Mercedes Benz Investigated For Electrical Problems
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is investigating certain 2008-2009 Mercecdes Benz C-Class vehicles after receiving 21 complaints from owners who say they experienced a loss of one or more rear lamp assemblies as well as overheated electrical connector that resulted in melting connectors, smoke, and fires from the rear lamp connector in the trunk. Ford HID Headlamp Wiring Problem
Ford has announced a recall for certain 2012-2013 Focus BEV and 2013 model year Focus ST vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, because these vehicles fail to comply to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Standards (FMVSS). Nissan is recalling approximately eight thousand 2014 Nissan Versa Note vehicles manufactured between April 23, 2013 and July 05, 2013 because of defective bolts installed on the rear seats and under tightened or missing lower body bolts. Lotus Evora S Ruptured Oil Line
Lotus USA is expanding a recall on certain 2011 Evora supercharged vehicles manufactured between September 2010 – September 2011 and quipped with a manual transmissions, because of a problem that could result in an engine fire. Ford C-Max Hybrid Insufficient Head Protection
The Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2013 C-Max hybrids because these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201, “Occupant Protection in Interior Impact.” Approximately 33,000 vehicles are affected by this recall.
