2004 Lexus LS 430- Transmission Problem – On some vehicles when the accelerator is quickly pressed, a small piece of metal may separate and become caught in the parking lock mechanism. General Motors Drops Buick SUV

GM has decided not to go forward with a new Buick Sports Utility Vehicle because the public did not seem to show any interest in it. The vehicle was going to be available in 2010 with an electric version due 2011l This decision came only two weeks after the new SUV was announced.

Chrysler to End Lifetime Warranties

In 2007 Chrysler introduced a lifetime powertrain warranty on their vehicles. They have decided to replace that warranty with a 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty which will go into effect with 2010 models. It will have no deductibles for repairs during the five year period and the warranty can be transferred to another owner if the vehicle is sold. The new warranty will not be applicable to diesel Dodge Rams or Dodge Sprinter commercial vans.
